SAP: Experiential Finance

Future Banking for Millennials

Project

This client project consisted of a 3-member team were we worked with the team at SAP's Innovation Center Network Silicon Valley (ICNSV).

This was a research-intensive project for the financial technology sector that aimed to discover possible solutions to the question: What will “next generation banking” look like?

Banks are seen as very traditional in a world where consumers want to decide when, where and how to be served. There is a competitive battleground for success in this industry and it revolves around customer experience. How can we create products aligned to changing customer needs? How do new customers think about banking products like loans, pensions and investments?

Challenge

The Financial Technology sector wants to discover the possible solutions to the question:
What will ‘Next-Generation Banking’ look like, with Millennials in mind. SAP wants to create products and services to help banks remain relevant in the future.

Solution

  • Moving banks away from commoditized products and towards experience-based services using Next-Generation technology and SAP’s Big Data analytics capabilities.
