Asthma Aware

Project

The first mobile asthma management app that integrates scientifically validated behavior change methodology, which has been shown to improve medication adherence in diagnosed asthmatics.

Challenge

To design a simple user interface that requires limited user interaction while still receiving the benefits of facilitating behavior change. The platform is designed for long term use during high and low periods of health motivation.

Solution

• Created a prototype to showcase at an asthma conference.
• Designed an onboarding process to reduce the number of steps to sign-up.
• Designed alert reminders and asthma facts.

Results

• Prototype was well received at the conference.
• Interest from Weill Cornell Medicine.
